Graduate Research Assistant Vacancy (PhD Candidate) -Closed

Looking to recruit a PhD candidate to work in FRGS cybersecurity research project in the field of Post-Quantum Cryptography.

The candidate must enrol as a full-time PhD by research (full-time) program at the Faculty of Computing and Informatics, Universiti Malaysia Sabah.

FIELD OF STUDY: Cybersecurity

SALARY: Up to RM2,300 per month.

DURATION: 36 months

LOCATION: Faculty of Computing and Informatics, University Malaysia Sabah.

Requirements:

1. Local candidates (Malaysian only).
2. Preferable possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Science (e.g. Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering). Other relevant Degree can be considered too.
3. Minimum CGPA of 3.00.
4. Ready to register as a PhD candidate in Faculty of Computing and Informatics, University Malaysia Sabah.
5. Able to work independently and under pressure, responsible, good time management, and willing to learn new knowledge and skills.
6. Have commitment and passion toward research.
7. Experience in cryptography/information security and C++/python programming would be an advantage.

GRA Vacancy: Research Assistantship Available (PhD Candidate)-Closed

1 graduate research assistant position is available in a laboratory at the Faculty of Computing & Informatics, Universiti Malaysia Sabah to investigate the use of electrocardiography (ECG) and electrodermography (EDG) for detecting emotions in VR-EEG predictive analytics.

The successful applicant can expect a monthly renumeration of up to RM2,300 per month for 36 months.

A Masters-level qualification in computer science or information technology is required. Experience in artificial intelligence/machine learning and Python programming would be desirable.

Project start date: 1 September 2019.
