IEEE is the world’s largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. The Sabah Subsection is located in IEEE Region 10, and was formed on Nov 18th, 2017.

IICAIET 2024

The IEEE Sabah subsection is organizing the 6th IEEE International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Engineering and Technology 2024 (IICAIET2024), co-organized by the Artificial Intelligence Research Unit, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) ad Design, which will be held at Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia from 26-28 August 2024. This year, IICAIET 2024 received 325 submissions. Upon review of all the submissions, 125 acceptedpapers will be presented orally during the conference, both in person and online. We are proud to that IICAIET has become an important platform to exchange and discuss the new ideas, opinions, and prospects in Artificial Intelligence.

IICAIET 2023

The IEEE Sabah subsection is organizing the 5th IEEE International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Engineering and Technology 2023 (IICAIET2023), co-organized by the Artificial Intelligence Research Unit, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) ad Design, which will be held at Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia from 12 to 14 September 2023.

IIACEIT 2022

The IEEE Sabah subsection is organizing the 4th IEEE International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Engineering and Technology 2022 (IICAIET2022), co-organized by the Artificial Intelligence Research Unit, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) ad Design, which will be held at Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia from 13 to 15 September 2022.

SCOReD 2021

2021 19th IEEE Student Conference on Research and Development (SCOReD) is a flagship conference organized by IEEE Malaysia Section and IEEE UMS Student Branch in collaboration with Universiti Malaysia Sabah.

Our Activities

Education and Training

IEEE Sabah Subsection provides a variety of education opportunities in the form of information, resources, conference, workshops, webinars and self-guided tutorials.

Community Engagement

IEEE Sabah Subsection offers support to the local community and public. The support may be information, advice, practical help or a combination of services.

Industrial Engagement

Facilitates industry engagement activities across IEEE Sabah Subsection, identifies and acts on opportunities with local industry and goverment, as well as worldwide industry professionals.
